  • Awesome Music: A majority of the music is provided by the British indie label NINJA TUNE. Their music is fantastic. Even the orchestrated pieces.
  • Broken Base: There are those who will argue the micro series was better than the full series.
  • Growing the Beard: Season 2 is when the writing, mecha action and characterization improves vastly.
  • Les Yay: Just a bit between Amy and Liz, especially in one scene in the second season that looked kinda like they were going to kiss.
  • Moe: Amy. It helps that she's voiced by Hynden Walch.
  • The Scrappy:
    • Team White Snow's jerkitude does not earn them many fans outside the show.
    • River. His negative attitude and seemingly egocentric behavior does not endear people towards him.
