Basic Trope: A man is offended when a woman beats him at something.

  • Straight: Bob is upset when Alice beats him at arm wrestling
  • Exaggerated: Bob is upset when Alice beats him at every sport and game they play together.
  • Downplayed: Bob is upset when Alice beats him, but still acts like a good sport and congratulates her.
  • Justified: Alice is more skilled or more experienced than Bob at the games they play.
