Jewelpet Sunshine is a prequel to Jewelpet and Jewelpet Twinkle.

That would explain of no mention of the human world even if humans like Kanon and Mikage make the visit and the Jewelpets didn't mention their previous partners.

Averted really hard. Each series were complete Reboots to each other.
