Germans Love David Hasselhoff: He's known in the UK for being the most prominent American fan of The Fast Show, even appearing in a cameo in their final special. He even inserted catchphrases from the show into Pirates of the Caribbean, including "...and they made me their chief." The other lines ended up on the cutting-room floor.
