  • Complete Monster: Shimi is a nasty piece of work, obsessed about making Taito miserable so he can unleash his Super-Powered Evil Side and destroy everything. It's justified in the anime because he's a demon...I mean the physical manifestation of a sword.
    • Not that Keiro isn't immune to this in the anime, where he destroys entire villages for power, has his son Ryuko imprisoned and then be used as a puppet for questioning him, kills his right-hand man and turns the capital's citizens into zombies.
