King Missile
King Missile is an American avant-garde band created by John S. Hall in 1986.
John Hall used to be a street performer/poet, but he eventually decided that, quote, "20 minutes of me reading poetry are boring", thus King Missile was born.
Their style can be described as several minutes of Hall reading his free verse poetry, accompanied by various music. The group is possibly best known for their 1992 song "Detachable Penis", thanks in part to radio personality Don Imus and his fascination with it.
