These are recommendations made by Tropers for Fan Fics, all of which have been signed. After a few samples, you will be able to judge whether you might be interested in the 'fic, based on who recommended it. No-name recommendations will be Zapped (wiki). Nobody would back up the rec. Discussion of the recommendation is welcome on the discussion page. As such discussion is important, do remember to add the discussion page to the watchlist, if need be.

• Synopsis: Yeah, Kirby fanfiction. Just hear me out. Premonition - y'know, that guy that was mentioned once or twice as Knuckle Joe's dad in the anime? His fan name is Jecra. Knuckle Joe travels into the past to try to stop Jecra from dying and Nightmare from winning... by giving him Meta Knight's journal, which always has entries dated a few days later than the actual date, giving him a sneak peek into the future.
• Comments: Features some beautiful writing and action scenes.
  • Unfortunately, the story as well as the author's account have been deleted, along with the rest of the author's equally well-written stories.

Warrior's Secret by Ivyna J. Spyder

• Synopsis: "A year after Nightmare's defeat, news of a dark army shatters the short time of peace. Meta Knight leads Kirby and his comrades on another desperate journey to defeat him once and for all. Will uncovering Kirby's secrets be the key?"
• Comments: I'm surprised nothing by Ivy has been recced yet. This fic has really nice writing. There's a lot more to it than what it says on the package.

Naraku VS Kirby by Kinkatia (Crossover with Inuyasha)

• Synopsis: Exactly What It Says on the Tin. Kirby mysteriously finds himself in feudal Japan and causes a lot of trouble for Naraku and his incarnations.
• Comments: A utterly perfectly hilarious and silly story that definitely does not take itself seriously.

To Find Oneself by Curimuch

• Synopsis: "Kirby's simple personality and way of life passes onto Metaknight with a single playful action from the child warrior. Was it just what Metaknight needed? Or was a balance in the world broken by this?"
• This is a very sweet story, but the best thing about this fic is Kirby, Sword and Blade's reaction to the mind bending insanity unfolding before them. The only person OOC in this fic is Meta Knight, however, that's a good reason for that...

Galacta: The story of Galactic Knight by Zero-Three

• Recommended by warpy
• Synopsis: What if Galacta Knight of KSSU was in the plot of the show? What would his story be – his ties with Meta Knight and the Galaxy Soldier Army? This is primarily a Kirby show/Kirby Super Star Ultra game crossover, set in the show's universe.
• One of the rare instances where trying to write Galacta Knight into the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! Alternate Universe is done well. It needs a chapter or two to get started, and once it does, it's awesome. Also offers a realistic interpretation of Meta Knight's backstory.

• Synopsis: Of Star Warriors, demons, and the inextricable links between them. My own take on the cliche topic of Meta Knight's past, possibly a prequel to Worlds.
• This fic is very well-written, and there's a lot more to it than it seems. The author's other Kirby fanfics are worth checking out, as well.
  • As of March 2012, the author has retired from FFN and has put this story on hiatus, along with the rest of his works as well.

Nightmarefics by Arbiterai Knight

• Synopsis: One-shots centering around Nightmare, his company, and the demon beasts affiliated therein. Will be updated sporadically.
• This fic is written by a troper, and it shows. It's one part Crack Fic, one part Darker and Edgier, one part Crack Pairing, one part Squick, and yet another part Crazy Awesome. Consists of many oneshots with little continuity between them. The good thing is that some chapters are almost Drabble short, and some are longer reads. Definitely worth checking out for the Darker and Edgier parts lying within.

• Synopsis: Funny, how wishes can change. Marx's life, before he wished to control Popstar - from his PoV. 'Scuz the general crappiness.
• Comments: Though it starts off a little slow, it's actually a pretty amazing fic that details Marx's life pre-MWW, as the synopsis says. Marx's development from a slightly weird but nice kid to a psychotic murderer is written so realistically it's absolutely terrifying—in a good way.

• From the Kirby: Right Back at Ya! anime, the Journey Diary of Meta Knight, Sword Knight and Blade Knight, from the day Sword and Blade swore fealty to Meta Knight until their arrival on Pop Star.

Gijinka Magolor Doujin by hainegom

• Well, this is certainly a first—it's the first part of a 100+ page Kirby doujin trilogy (which is almost unheard of, for this fandom) done in gijinka form! Contains major spoilers for Kirby's Return to Dream Land, and explores Magolor's backstory, as well as the origin of the Lor Starcutter, before Kirby and his crew battle Magolor Soul.

    • While none of it been translated yet, it's definitely worth looking at, because the art is absolutely amazing and incredibly Badass. This pixiv artist has done gijinka designs for nearly every prominent Kirby character, including their anime designs, and follows it up with another work that ties both the anime and game canons together.
