• Ear Worm: "The Siamese Cat Song".
  • "He's a Tramp" and "Bella Notte", too.
• Heartwarming Moments: Shortly after the baby is born, Lady sings the song, "What is a Baby?" in her head. She then cautiously goes into the baby's bedroom, where Darling is rocking him to sleep, with a beautiful lullaby. After the lullaby is finished, Lady looks into the cradle fondly at the baby and realizes that having him around won't be nearly so bad as Tramp had warned her.
• Moment of Awesome: Trusty regaining his sense of smell and hunting down the dog catcher during the climax.
• Nightmare Fuel: The growing suspension during the baby's anticipated arrival sequence. Mostly the Awesome Music does it.
  • "The last walk."
  • The rat... oh, God, the rat.
  • The Siamese cats...they always scared me so bad as a child... they still do!
• Sequelitis: Surprisingly averted; the sequel has some decent animation, catchy songs, and yes Chazz Palminteri.
  • Helped by having a good deal of source material to draw from.
• Squick: In Scamp's Adventure, Buster (the big bad) tries to win the affections of a Pomeranian named Angel... and so does Scamp. Now, Scamp's obviously a puppy, as is Angel, but Buster is an adult dog.
  • Don't forget that as a pomeranian, she won't be getting very big...
  • As a troper on the "Honorable Marriage Proposal" page mentioned, it's possible the scene where Lady is being chased by the dogs is caused by her being in heat, as later on she spends a night alone with Tramp, and Jock and Trusty discuss marrying her to preserve her honour.
• Tear Jerker: The "No Place Like Home" sequence, done in dog howls. A bit mitigated by the fact that the dogs were doing that howling as cover for the escape tunnel being dug and is almost done.
  • Trusty's Disney Death. Although he actually survives it's pretty heartbreaking seeing Jock howling in sorrow.
• Unfortunate Implications: The Siamese cats have buck teeth, crooked eyes and speak with bizarre, exotic accents (Not to mention improper English, too).
  • The ethnic stereotypes among the dogs aren't much better.
  • The police officer guarding the entrance to the zoo where Tramp tries to get Lady's muzzle off has an Officer O'Hara characterization, down to his Hair-Trigger Temper and strong Oirish accent.
