Mai-chan's Daily Life/Headscratchers

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • So, somehow, we're supposed to believe that the events that happen to Mai-Chan and her friends somehow manage to carry out for what appears to be years upon years without any sort of authority figures finding out about it, and taking appropriate action in order to ensure the safety of Mai-chan to study her regenerative properties to discover the secrets of immortality, which would result in the single most groundbreaking discovery in human history? Furthermore, why do the owners of Mai-chan insist on using her as a high-price sex slave instead of allowing her to be studied by a group of scientists in exchange for massive amounts of wealth and power? And even if you were to argue that the owners refused to do so out of fear of the authorities discovering what they have been doing to her for all these years, history has proven time and time again that even grade - A war criminals can and will be excused for all of their wrongdoings in exchange for potentially useful information in the field of science and medicine, often to the point where all of their crimes are covered up and treated as if though they've never happened. But wait, there's more! Not only that, but we are supposed to believe that none of this occurred to the people who first discovered Mai-chan, or even the god damn parents of Mai-chan, or even the god damn doctors who probably had seen Mai-chan up close and personal for medical reasons in the past, all of this combined with for god knows how long Mai-chan has been wandering around as a free person in the past while nobody notices her seeming immortality and super-regenerative properties? No. No. No. Bull. Shit.
  • The existence of this thing bugs me. What the hell was going on in Waita Uziga's head?
    • Believe it or not some people get off with this sort of thing.
      • If your humour is black enough, it also makes for a decent comedy.
    • For me it's not the existence of the comic that bugs me but the fact that some people actually masturbate to this. And think it's funny.
      • The reason it is funny is that it is so completely over the top and has so much Did Not Do the Research going on that it tends to crack up anyone with a somewhat dark sense of humor (I mean, blended infant + Gratuitous English Memetic Mutation?). On the other hand, if you actually get aroused by it, seek help, because taken at face-value and completely straight it is disturbing like hell.
  • Now I'm no expert on the subject, but since Mai had to feed her own flesh to Sayurin, and she doesn't like pain...wouldn't it have been a lot easier to cut off her arm before putting it in the meat grinder?
    • Mai isn't that bright; also, it would've cut down on the implicit gorn in the sequence.
  • Since Kizuna enjoys pain, while Mai has the normal human reaction to it, when they are forced to fight for their clients' enjoyment, wouldn't it have made more sense for Kizuna rather than Mai to throw the fight?
    • The client explicitly forbade them to rig the fight.
  • Mai and the other slaves can't die, right? why don't they just leave?
    • I think I remember hearing somewhere that, though they have very powerful regenerative abilities, they aren't truly immortal. It would take some secret method, and a lot of it, but they can be killed. Presumably, their 'owners' know this method.
      • It's in an omake. Total destruction of every cells will kill them, such as being thrown into an incinerator. I guess being completely eaten by Mr.Tiger would work too.
    • Given that they've got Alex Mercer levels of regeneration, I don't think that a few pistol shots in the ass on the way out the door at top speed will ruin much. Unless bitchy's got a flamethrower. If it's biomass that's the problem, go Mook Horror Show and eat a few clients.
  • Given that Mai had regenerated with the aid of a chicken at the start, why would anybody sane would want to put their junk into her, knowing that there's a damn good chance she might just absorb it as "foreign matter". That being said, why doesn't it actually happen? She can only activate it if she chooses to? In that case why doesn't she just die?
    • You expect a porny fetish pump to stand up to scrutiny and have internal logic?
      • Presumably, the absorption process takes longer than the average intercourse.
