  • John McCabe, the bumbling "hero" of this revisionist Western finally gets one ...right before he dies alone and forgotten in the snow. Despite probably having never shot anyone in his life, he manages to take out all three of the hired assassins out to kill him. The last (and scariest) of these three bites it after seemingly killing McCabe - he goes over to McCabe's lifeless body in glee, when suddenly McCabe lifts his gun one last time to shoot the assassin right between the eyes.
