  • Banned in China: Banned in many countries. Note that, unlike Nazi iconography, it is actually not banned by law in Germany. Rather, the Free State of Bavaria, which held the rights to the book, refused to allow any copying or printing of it. Said copyright expired in 2016, allowing the book to be published for the first time in Germany since 1945. This unsurprisingly led to mixed reactions from Jewish groups and prompted public debate.
