Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance/Funny
Raiden
- The Mariachi costume sequence. Short version, Raiden dons a mariachi outfit as a "disguise", opens a sewer grate, and hops down it while Mexican guys are looking at him with a major "WTF is he doing?!" look on their faces. Even better, after he turns to them as says 'Adios, amigos" and pops down into the sewer, both guys just decide to invoke the MST3K Mantra and pretend it never happened.
- Even the game mocks Raiden for this one in the armor select screen:

- When he needs to escape Denver fast, he decides to jack a motorcycle. As he drives away, the camera pans over to the ground where he was standing, revealing he wrote how to contact him and an apology for taking the bike into the pavement. what gets even funnier is that we find out in the Jetstream DLC that he actually stole Jetstream Sam's bike, which is even MORE hilarious because that's EXACTLY who he runs into while going down the Colorado highway.
Doktor
- Raiden decides to hop out of the transport chopper he and Doktor are in to take on some bogeys trying to shoot them down. After a brief protest, Doktor tells Raiden (about to jump out the window) to "enjoy your flight". Raiden remarks "and people say Germans aren't funny" in response before jumping.
- This hilarious bit of Accidental Innuendo:

Armstrong
- After a going on a massive roid rage after Raiden destroys Metal Gear Excelsus, he starts beating the shit out of Raiden, twists him into a literal human ball, throws Raiden up into the air (with a shot of Raiden in comically bug eyed terror/shock), then as Raiden is about to land, literally punts him in the ass as an imaginary football crowds cheers. It's even more hilarious in context.
- A smaller, but no less funny moment happens during the second half of the beat down, where he socks Raiden so hard he skids across the metal floor they are fighting on his metallic jaw, which results in Raiden hurriedly getting up, trying to wave away the heat from his now glowing white jawline.
- Over half of Armstrong's dialouge is a Fountain of Memes:

- Hell, even Armstrong's Motive Rant his real one is funny as hell, if for no other reason than the sheer amount of Cluster F Bombing he does while making Raiden his bitch.

- This has a mini moment of hilarity at the beginning, with Raiden's Flat What over how the beginning of the speech obviously sounded like the beginning of Martin Luther King's speech.
- In a dark moment of funny, at the end of the Jetstream DLC, after Sam gets his sword arm sliced off, Armstrong extends his hand to give him a handshake.....to the side where the arm is currently bleeding out. Even Sam found that one darkly amusing.
Jetstream Sam
- After defeating Sundowner, Sundowner calls Sam, who trolls him over his loss:
