These things about Michael Rosen are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

Fanwork Ban: He initially took umbrage at those making parodies of his poems and had some of the YTPs taken down, but upon learning about the Streisand Effect and how it all ultimately boils down to proper parental supervision when it comes to children's exposure to the internet, he backed down and later expressed some support for the poopers who have enthusiastically remixed his works. Though as a precaution, he had comments on his videos disabled (later re-enabled albeit with moderation but after the COPPA scandal of 2019 they were all marked as "for kids" with comments and playlist saving disabled) and put up a disclaimer disavowing any involvement with parody videos and reminded parents that YouTube is a "free-for-all" venue and as such videos of his can be downloaded and edited by users at will.
Keep Circulating the Tapes: As most of his poems have long since gone out of print and he was unable to get them reprinted, he had his son upload videos of him reading his poems to YouTube for them to be available to a wider audience.
