Mirror (video game)/Nightmare Fuel

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Considering this game mixes visual novel elements with puzzle-based combat gameplay, it has good and especially some BAD ends that lead to dark places:

  • For starters, the miko priestess' endings are BOTH nightmare fuel, because in them, she winds up being defeated and then assaulted by Tentacle Rope which then impregnates her with a demonic creature that is trying to be reborn. But the nightmares happen regardless of the ending, because in the Bad ending: The demon assumes a tentacle monster-esque form and explodes from her womb/belly, killing her rather brutally/graphically in the process. On the other hand, even the "good" ending kind of has its own nightmare fuel, because the demon assumes the form of whatever she imagined, and it ends up as a human baby which she then gives birth to. Since it IS her child, she is seen to later be raising it. The problem? While the human form is kind of like a self-made prison for the creature who is now trapped in that form with barely any control over its actions, the demon's thoughts and therefore consciousness are still within the child. Think about what that might lead to once the kid gets older.
  • Unita (the 6th girl)'s story is as follows, she is an orc living in a forest/jungle and according to her tribe's traditions, the women are put through a trial when they reach a certain age to see if they are worthy of becoming a "Warrior Woman" or if they fail it, they become... in their words "a baby-making machine" that is forced to do nothing except have sex constantly just to maintain the population. She had an older sister who had actually saved her life a few years back from a large sentient wolf-man monster that wound up devouring her sister.
    • The good ending has her running off with the adventurer to live with him in human society, but since we see her still wearing her tribal outfit and such, we can assume that she likely doesn't get to go out much, except that she also killed one of her neighbor's dogs, because it reminded her of the wolf-monster that ate and killed her sister AND simply because the owner of the dog just let it bark and make noise each night.
    • The bad ending has her becoming a baby-making machine for her tribe, and the men gloat about having quick (unsatisfying for her) sex with her repeatedly till she becomes pregnant. When we finally see her, she's not even conscious and they're still having sex with her... One of the orcs actually stays behind and continues to have even more sex with her... WHILE SHE IS STILL UNCONSCIOUS!!!!
  • The lady pharaoh comes with a special amount of this before the story even gets going too far. She's been draining men of their essence succubus style just to keep her youth and throws the guys who can't perform any longer to the crocodiles, and it's implied she's gone through quite a lot of guys by the time the story starts. Worse, she's planning to double down on this by essentially raping the corpses of her ancestors of their spiritual energy so she can become a goddess.
