Monte Cook is the author of many Role Playing Games, Adventure Modules, and Splats.

His most well known work may be the Dungeon Master's Guide for the third edition of Dungeons and Dragons. He was rehired by Wizards of the Coast to lead the effort on the fifth edition, but left the job before completing it due to creative differences with management.
