Much Ado About Nothing (1993 film)/Heartwarming
- The quiet, intimate scene between Beatrice and the Prince where he offers to marry her, just because he wants to see her happy, and her regretful "no". What might have come across as comic opera or even Narm in another production becomes in the hands of Emma Thompson and Denzel Washington a deep, almost melancholy interlude in the midst of the comedy that adds an entire new layer to both their characters.
