  • Crowning Moment of Funny: If the smoking crotch gags were enough to win over the director of the original movie, they're good enough for us.
    • "This is our 'ool,' notice there's no 'P' in it!" said as the goons drown Old!Richard's son in the swimming pool.
  • Fridge Logic:

Servo: So what happens if your clone is a hard drinking, hard living clone?
Crow: "Sorry, we need your liver to keep your clone alive!"

  • Hilarious in Hindsight: Over the credits, Mike and the 'bots do a faux-Biography of Peter Graves. Not even a week after taping the episode, Graves was the subject of an episode of Biography.
  • Vindicated by Cable: Appearing on MST3K had the effect of bringing the movie more into the mainstream and viewers of this particular episode wrote to Fiveson for support and encouragement in his lawsuit against the producers of The Island.
