  • High Octane Nightmare Fuel: Most of Apokolips counts, but specifically Granny Goodness. Dear God, Granny Goodness. What to say about someone whose entire purpose is basically child abuse?
  • My Real Daddy: Paul Levitz is widely considered the guy who made Darkseid a big name villain with the Great Darkness Saga. Similarly, Giffen and De Matteis are credited for making Oberon and Big Barda cool (as well as bringing Mr Miracle out of obscurity), while Walt Simonson made Orion cool.
