Chapter 11

Was Konomi there when Rise told her love story (and the attempted murder)? If she was, then there is no way she couldn't have thought of something about Masaya's back scar, something he told her about and didn't remember how he got it (possibly out of traumatic repression).
- Perhaps she was too mesmerized by the story to think.

Marika, in a desperate attempt to sway the disapproving crowd at her meeting, kisses Masaya without warning. On the cheek. Wouldn't that cause even more trouble?
Marika's grandmother then shows up and, eventually, explains why she was ordering her grand-daughter to kick out Masaya, mentioning a feud with the Rousenin family (with a contrarian objective). She's saying all this in front of the entire school body, with Rise and the chairwoman present!!! The headmistress is even pissed at her for the power grab, but the grandma doesn't care. And yet, the people involved do not react...

Ayaka comes to Masaya's room, acting all seductive to him and suggesting they do "something fun". He is surprised when it turns out she was holding a board game of The Game of Life behind her back. I'll let it pass when it comes to hiding it, but that big box must have made quite some noticeable plastic sounds from the pieces, especially since she was moving in a very slow and suggestive manner towards Masaya, bending her back to him and extending her hand towards his neck.
- And it's not a pocket version, it's the full-sized game, as shown in a CG.
And so, Masaya and his friends (7 in total, Mitsuki does not participate) are playing The Game of Life. There's just one problem: the board game has a maximum player count of 6. If Ritsuko and Konomi were playing as one player, that would have been fine, but:

They are playing as separate players.
That would have brought a conflict between the two, since all of them are playing with a dare: The one who wins gets to kiss Masaya.

Then again, the board game, as presented in the visual novel, is not the same as the real-life version.
Is there even a Japanese version of The Game of Life?

Why was Chiho surprised when Masaya told her his old house had been repossessed, when she saw the house with her own eyes during her trip to her former school? She should have seen that there were new owners inside Masaya's block.
