Radiata Stories/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Character Tiers: With so many characters to collect, they can't all be useful.
  • Complete Monster:
    • Cross comes across as this, big time. He doesn't really care about what happens to the world, the government, or anyone else. He just has a pathological need to always be "right."
    • While Jack respects Cross in the human route, Cross hates Jack for being the hero when he feels he doesn't deserve it. In the nonhuman path, since there's no Jack to save the day, the humans put Cross on a pedestal and he uses his new influence to jump the Moral Event Horizon like there's no tomorrow. It's safe to say that if Cross had the capacity to act however he wanted in the human route, he'd be just as willing to commit atrocities.
  • Ensemble Darkhorse: Elwen, the chief of Theater Vancoor, is likely the most significant example.
  • Fridge Logic: The description for the wooden breastplate details its origins, said to be made from the timber of "a magic tree that can be seen from afar, but disappears like a mirage," arguably when one comes close to it. So how exactly is the wood harvested?
  • Moral Event Horizon: "Dwarves are the enemy of humankind! It is time to stike! Show no mercy to the traitors!" Cross, you total, utter bastard.
  • That One Boss: The very first boss fight in the nonhuman path is this. The two-on-one duel at Fort Helencia wouldn't be so difficult if not for Natalie's "First Class Flurry," which can cause an instant kill.
  • What an Idiot!: Cross. Ganz too, for responding to Jack's joke. Yes, the joke was funny and clever, but you don't praise the joker when the subject is your boss. Who is standing right in front of you.
