Also known as Ninja Girls.

This story takes place during the Sengoku era in Japan. Young orphan Raizou has been rejected all his life because of a horn on his forehead, and lives alone in a small house. One day he finds an almost dead girl named Kagari and nurses her back to health. It turns out that she's a kunoichi serving the Katana clan and was looking for Raizou, who is her recently deceased lord's illegitimate child.

Soon they find two of Kagari's fellow kunoichi, Cold Sniper Kisarabi and Handsome Lech Himemaru, who join them and so this Harem Comedy begins with their quest to rebuild the Katana clan.

The Ace: To become head of Iga you need to best 100 of Iga's kunoichis at whatever is their secret technique, so this is pretty much a requirement.
Action Girl: Kagari, Kisarabi, Mizuchi, princess Izuna and princess Tsunami.
Achilles' Heel / The Power of Love: Kagari cannot use her Shintaigou technique unless the "person she wishes to exchange kisses with" lays his eyes upon her.
All Your Powers Combined: The Master is better at traps than Himemaru, has TWO of Kisarabi's magic eyes, and has a better Shintaigou than Kagari. She stomps all over them when they try and oppose her.
- Justified as every Master must prove herself against the leaders 100 clans of the Ninja Village. In the most recent arc a new Master is trying to prove herself.
~~Ambiguously~~ Gay: Himemaru. He wants to marry Raizou, partly because of the power of the Katana clan, and partly because he's fallen for him. But he's not stereotypically gay at all. He's a bit of a flirt toward Raizou, and seems to have the "over-the-top femininity" of a Lipstick Lesbian, despite being male. It's complicated.
Animate Inanimate Object: Raizou's mother's funerary tablet. Among other things, it has fallen over (and set itself back up) to show approval, shot out of his rucksuck to hit him in the face, and scrape warning messages on the ground to him.
Barbie Doll Anatomy: How else would you explain how Kisarabi's coat is able to stay on like that?
Big Bad: Kabuki Seigan.
Blood Magic: Seigan's special "surgery" power, which allows him to control and enhance anyone he wants.
Bodyguard Crush: Kagari on Raizou.
- This is also the essence of the first Katana household revival plan. By having Raizou save princess Hibari from attackers (actually the female ninja in disguise), they hope that Raizou will be made her bodyguard. It works.
Boobs of Steel: Kisarabi.
- Kagari somewhat more literally. Her "Shintaigou" ability makes her body impossibly strong and nigh-unbreakable. She is also quite busty.
- Subverted with Princess Izuna, who can beat a man three times her size and is even less busty than Himemaru.
Bratty Half-Pint: Orochi, complete with Noblewoman's Laugh
Clingy Jealous Girl: Mizuchi towards Kagari, and Kagari towards Raizou, to an extent.
Detached Sleeves: Princess Hibari.
Dropped a Bridget On Him: Himemaru.
- A bit of Fridge Brilliance here about him. Himemaru is a master of traps, both setting them up, and immobilizing opponents with ropes. That is, he's a trap who works with traps.
Everything's Better with Princesses: The Katana Household Revival Plan necessitates that Raizou marry a princess. Hence...
Eyepatch of Power: Kisarabi, though she doesn't actually need it.
- That is debatable. It conceals a magic-imbued eye that boosts her sniping. The ninjas' master can also use this ability, except both of her eyes have it (it's implied their master isn't human anyway)
Face Palm: Kisarabi does one during a tea ceremony set up by Raizou to try and mediate the fight between Kagari and Himemaru. They both leap at the cup that Raizou drank from (presumably hoping for an Indirect Kiss)...and end up smashing the cup and the pot.
Fan Service: Hoo boy...^[context?]
Ghostly Advisor: Variant: Raizou's mother doesn't appear as a ghost, instead she communicates through her funerary tablet, often by making it jump and slapping Raizou very hard.
Greedy: Mizuchi.
Harem Seeker: Seigan's proposed master plan is creating (and ruling over) a country full of women in Japan.
Hijacked by Jesus: justified, as "Angel" is a Christian nun. Surprisingly, Crystal Dragon Jesus is averted when he actually appears, being the mysterious shepard as in the Gospels.
Hilarity Ensues: The start of each princess plot can be summed up like this: Find out about the next princess. Go to the country. Come up with a plan to get close to the princess. Watch as plan is dashed to pieces by circumstance and/or Raizou's cowardice.
Idiot Ball: Raizou. He abandons two princess that were madly in love with him because of a slight misunderstanding of his part. He doesn't even let them say that they love him. Himemaru could also count. Standing up to piss while substituting a princess isn't the smartest of the ideas.
Ill Guy: Momochi.
Knight Templar Parent: Raizou's mother... 's funerary tablet.
Lady of War: Kisarabi, though it doesn't prevent her from occasionally indulging in the silliness that permeates the main cast.
- Princess Izuna is a literal one, ending up the victor in an extended battle to determine the inheritance of her clan.

Naughty Nuns: Ezumi/Anjo, but aside from her garb, she is perhaps the most modest of all of Raizou's love interests.
Ninja: All over the damn place.
Older Than They Look: Momochi
Our Vampires Are Different: Maybe. The Ninja master doesn't age, and starts to die when exposed to sunlight.
Phlebotinum Breakdown: When mother's funereal tablet is shattered, the replacement tablet is completely inert. At the end of a flashback sequence, Raizou makes it come "alive" again by digging up the original and recovering the phlebotinum: a lock of his mother's hair.
Ninjas Vs. Pirates: Ch. 25 to 30.
Runaway Groom: Pretty much every time Raizou succeeds in his quest to find/save a potential wife, he ends up running away; it's implied that his early childhood of being shunned as the 'demon boy' has devastated his self-esteem, to the point where he automatically blames himself for perceives mishaps and runs before the princess in question can officially reject him, even though none of them had any intention to do so.
Serious Business: Kagari and Hibari's kemari match.
Stripperiffic: Kagari and Himemaru, the latter somewhat impressively.
Stupid Sexy Himemaru: Some straight males reading this manga will have to repeatedly remind themselves that Himemaru is a guy. This, this, and definitely this do not help matters.
Suspiciously Similar Substitute: Kagari for Seigan. It has been revealed her master who taught her the Shintaigou, or Spirit Body, was in love with Seigan.
The Power of Love: What powers Kagari's Shintaigo technique.
Token Evil Teammate: Himemaru. He's not technically evil, but he is considerably amoral.
- Mizuchi, having decided to go mercenary, now works for Kagari Seigan. Still helps out, if only to marry Raizou off so that Kagari can get over him.
Token Loli: Mizuchi and Princess Izuna.
Unwanted Harem: Raizou. No matter how many times he leaves the smitten princesses in the dust.
Wacky Marriage Proposal: The goal of the protagonists: Find and impress a rich/powerful woman so that Raizou can marry her and continue the Katana bloodline! ... Though Raizou himself doesn't seem as excited at the prospect.
White-Haired Pretty Boy: Raizou, Momochi.
Wholesome Crossdresser: Himemaru. Sort of. Well, his first appearance made him out to be a Villainous Crossdresser, but since then he's less... Well, he's not actually evil, anyway.
