  • Rayman 2 was originally going to be a 2D sidescroller like Rayman, but perhaps most infamous is the drastic change in Rayman Raving Rabbids from a platformer to a pack of minigames.
  • The original concept of the franchise was that Rayman is a ten-year-old kid named Jimmy, who got sucked into Hereitscool, a world he has created in his computer.
  • Rayman 1 was going to be a SNES game.
  • Originally, Globox's name was going to be "Globber".
  • An early draft of Rayman 2 back when it was in 2D reveals that the General might have been the Big Bad.
  • In Raving Rabbids, Andre was set to return and perform an Enemy Mine with Rayman against the Rabbids.
  • The Raving Rabbids were going to be zombie rabbits.
