A Very Guy Christmas Carol by traveller19

  • Synopsis: "Sir Guy of Gisborne has been installed as the Sheriff of Nottingham after he murders Vaisey, and is on his way to wealth and power at the expense of the peasants he governs. But will he change his ways when things start to get a little...ghostly?"
  • Comments: This is basically A Christmas Carol in medieval England!, but transplants the plotline very well and each of the ghosts are perfectly suited to their roles, and each of the characters are well-developed and believable. AU, but well worth the read.

  • Synopsis: "Season three, written as if it followed the first two seasons' plotlines and story arcs. AU, all canon couples, spoilers for season 2 finale. Rated T for safety. Title subject to change."
  • Comments: Well-written, and it deals with some of the fundamental problems with the series retooling. Tries to be as Original Flavor as possible, and succeeds - the author avoids Ron the Death Eater and Draco in Leather Pants for the two main heroes, respectively, and brings back the character's personalities and motivations. Only one chapter so far, but it's a good read.

  • Synopsis: "When it is revealed that Djaq has never shot a bow and arrow, the Gang decides that she needs a bow of her own and a lesson on how to shoot it. Of course, what can go wrong, will go wrong! Set shortly after 1x08, "Tattoo? What Tattoo?""
  • Comments: Contains pre-Will/Djaq, yes, but is more a friendship fic than a shipping one. There's a cute family moment between Robin and Djaq, and the entire thing is handled well, with no Die for Our Ship. There's also a lot of playful banter and humor to be had.

  • Synopsis: Set after Allan's betrayal and defection to Guy. After the gang is captured, Allan is faced with a Sadistic Choice when Guy asks him what one will crack first under torture and inform him of Robin's whereabouts. Flitting between three separate storylines (the gang in Nottingham dungeons, Allan's attempts to rescue them, and Robin and Marian's secret mission to a political ally), everything comes together by the final chapters.
  • Comments: This is an incredibly well-written "missing episode" set between Get Carter and Lardner's Ring. All the characters are spot-on (and Draco in Leather Pants is well and truly avoided for Gisborne) and the story is so good you wish it had been a real episode. Shipping for the most part is avoided, though there is plenty of Will/Djaq/Allan subtext, and some very cute Robin/Marian moments.
