RoboGirl
RoboGirl is a 2008 web series created by Ed Glaser for Dark Maze Studios as an homage to 1980s Science Fiction films. Ten episodes (for a total of 30 minutes) were produced on a low budget, not that you could tell.
The main character is Huntress, a cyborg and the only hope for Humanity. The story starts during World War III, where an alien parasite known only as "The Host" has infected 15% of the human population. Huntress is chosen to be sent back in time to 2008 to exterminate the threat before it appears.
All ten episodes could at one time be found at at thatguywiththeglasses.com, and Dark Maze Studios' Website; the sites are both dead but are archived on the Wayback Machine. Note, however, that the videos are only available there in the now-obsolete Flash video format. A DVD containing all ten episodes was also released, and as of early 2021 can still be found on Amazon.com.
Not to be confused Robogirl Revenge, an alternate title for the film The Machine Girl.
