STARLESS 21st Century Nymphomaniacs is a H-game by Sei Shoujo, the same artist and writer of Discipline: The Record of a Crusade and Bible Black. Like most of the games he has created it features exquisite artistic detail and every twisted sex fetish you can possibly name shoved into an eroge plot.

The protagonist is Sawatari Yukito, a guy who just wanted to earn some money over the summer, and he unwittingly took a job offer to a be a handyman for the Big Fancy House of the Mamiya family out in the country since they were offering quite a bit for the job.

Soon after he arrives, he quickly finds out the job title is In Name Only. In fact, the residents of the mansion are kinky, twisted aristocrats who engage in perverse sex play of every sort, and he's now forced to join the maids of the manor in pleasing their every decadent whim.

That is, unless he can escape.....

Tropes used in STARLESS include:

A Lighter Shade of Black: While all the members of the Mamiya family are hedonistic perverts, Marika is probably the nicest of them all. Which doesn't say much, as she does some pretty kinky and sadistic sex acts to you and the others herself, but compared to the rest of her family, she's at the shallow end of the pool when it comes to being sexually depraved. Extra ironic when you consider she's a futanari, and most Sei Shoujo games with futanari tend to have them involved in some of the most extreme sex acts.
- Some of the endings have you become a part of the Mamiya family, which, while it basically counts as Face Heel Turn for the protagonist, it's still miles above some of the bad endings in terms of how well off your character is at the end of the game.
A Man Is Not a Virgin: Averted. Marie in fact, thinks it's something to be proud about. Marika also finds it to be an endearing character trait. Marisa plays it straight however and says that being virgin only means you're a loser.
Aristocrats Are Evil: And unbelievably perverted.
Blatant Lies: Mikako is very attractive, but Marisa is constantly calling her unattractive solely because of her age and Sawatari for feeling excited for her to further humiliate them.
Bratty Teenage Daughter: Marisa is the youngest of the Mamiya sisters and is very unpleasant to Yukito from the start.
But Thou Must!: Majority of Yukito's choices have no influence on the events that occurred through out the game (except those that decides the final outcome), and he must follows the Mamiya's every commands.
But You Screw One Goat!: Bestiality is heavily implied to be something the Mamiya family is not above engaging in and horses, dogs, and even pigs are shown in incredibly graphic sex scenes with some of the female characters in some of the bad endings.
Covert Pervert: Marie believes Yuuna is one, and blames that on her next to non-existent sexual experience.
Drives Like Crazy: Yukito mentions in his narration that the dirver that takes him to the Mamiya mansions drives recklessly. It's sort of justified because the road where the taxi is used solely by the Mamiya and is in a isolated region, making the probability of finding another car very low.
Dude Looks Like a Lady: He is a very pretty, delicate young boy. If it wasn't for his perverted behaviour and his constant exposure, it would be hard to guess his gender.
Excuse Plot: The game plot is very shallow, though certain choices can lead to different endings.
Face of an Angel, Mind of a Demon: The Mamiya women are very pretty. They're also very cruel.
Foreshadowing: Marisa saying every guy Marika ever liked ran away from her. What could make guys ran away of such a beautiful, nice young woman? A penis. A very real, fuctional penis.
Futanari - One of the daughters of the Mamiya family is a true hermaphrodite, having both male and female organs and are both fully functional, as you will find out in one of the endings. One of the endings also features the son of one of the maids being turned into a transsexual.
Good Girls Avoid Abortion: Marie mentions that, if Yuuna gets pregnant, she would do an abortion in a way the mother wouldn't never know she was pregnant in first place. Yukari is understandably frightened and horrified, specially since it could be his child.
Groin Attack - In the very worst ending, Yukito's penis is sliced off with a guillotine.
Hot Mom: Yukito makes several remarks about how Marie is beautiful, charming, and curvaceous.
Idle Rich: The taxi driver that takes Yukito to the Mamiya's mansion says they're this kind of rich people, with executives taking care of their business. That is kind of averted in Marika's case, as you later discover she helped in creating a new kind of condom for her family's medical business.
Irony: In the day that he found the Mamiya's ad to find an house servant, Yukito had read on his horoscope that would be his lucky day. That's cosmical irony.
Leaning on the Fourth Wall: Marisa insults Yukito over getting turned on by cartoons. Considering what kind of person and what kind of reason would make a person play this visual novel, and for what reasons, Marisa seems to be insulting the audience itself.
Madonna-Whore Complex: Marie believes Yukito's silence while watching Yuuna masturbating is the product of having this kind of conception shattered. Yukito is actually trying to hide his arousal at it, and reminds himself that was Marie spiking Yuuna's drinking with aphrodisiac to this lewd, exhibitionist act.
Meaningful Name: The name of the Mamiya's guard dog is Cerberus. In Greek Mythology, Cerberus is the name of the dog who guards the gates of hell. The Mamiya are known as "demons" in their region. In other words, Cerberus protects the house of the demons. That is, hell.
Multiple Endings: One good end, at least three endings that are terrible in their own ways but not nearly as bad as they could be, and several incredibly Nightmare and Nausea fuel filled Bad Endings.
Musical Theme Naming: The game name is derived from a British progressive rock song.
Nice Guy: Marie and Marika like Yukito because he gives the vibe of being like that. And that's not exactly a good thing.
Lighter and Softer: The hentai anime adaptation tones down quite a bit of the most depraved parts of the game such as the bestiality, scat, and guro, while keeping most of the less graphic scenes intact, though several details were changed.
- The JAST original English release Dummied Out most of the stuff that was extremely graphic, like the guro, scat, and bestiality, but a Game Mod will restore it all in it's uncensored glory.
Names to Run Away From Really Fast: The Mamiya are known in their region of origin as "the demons of the Tokonage mountain".
Parental Incest:
- Makoto openly admits early in the game that he masturbates to the footage he shots of his mom having sex. it is desconstructed on the fact he and his mom are being fed aphrodisiacs by the Mamiyas, so the barriers, both rational and biological for incest have been forcibly removed. By the time the game starts, in fact, the Mamiyas have established a rule they can't have (vaginal) sex.
- Despite their pervertedness, is averted in the case of the Mamiya. In fact, Marie says to Yukito she actually never breastfed Kyouchi as a baby, and that may be the reason why her son lusts after Makoto's son Miyako, to compensate for this lack of maternal love.
- There is a sex scene with the son of one of the maids and his mother.
- Yukito discusses the trope, believing that maybe he would have engaged into this if his mother was as good looking as Marie is.
Please Put Some Clothes On: Yukito asks this to Marisa, who is dressed in only her underwear, at the start of the second day. Of course, the power dynamics are heavily on her favour, so of course she only scolds him for even asking that.
Rich Bitch: Marisa basically treats Yukito like a slave even before the slavery begins.
Sex Slave: The Mamiya are apparently involved in this kind of practice since Japan's medieval era, where families that didn't pay them their loans for them had their daughters and wives taken to be sold off.
Squick - The game itself is filled with practically every perversion Sei Shoujo could fit into the plot. Invoked in universe by the protagonist, who is pretty disgusted with most of the Mamiya family's perversions.
Stripperific: The outfits that the female servants must wear in the mansion are quite revealing. That's one of several signals that Yukito receives of how much abnormal is working for the Mamiya before he discovers the truth.
Tsundere: Marisa seems to secretly desire Yukito and feels envy when he haves sex with her sister, but keeps treating him horribly because she feels he is beneath her.
Unprovoked Pervert Payback: Because Marisa is a jerkass, that is why. She calls Yukito a pervert but the truth is that she simply sees him as beneath her.
