Samurai Jack/Fridge

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Fridge Brilliance

Fridge Horror

  • Counts as a Tear Jerker as well. It's not too hard to imagine how Jack's parents reacted after his disappearance into the far future. They spent their last years believing that their son suffered a horrible death by Aku, trying and fail to end Aku's reign of terror. All of their hope extinguished, not knowing if Jack is still trying to finish the job thousands of years later.

Fridge Logic

Jack (while being possessed by Aku) takes on a little red newt-like tribe of monks with his sword. They were knocked around like crazy, however it's nothing like the bloodbath that was implied. Only if you've seen earlier episodes when you realize that the sword can't harm the innocent, only the monks that suffer from his fists and feet are being hurt.

    • The sword doesn't cut anyone in that episode besides the robot. It's being used like a bat. It didn't cut anyone that won't stop its' force of the impact from taking place. As shown before, the sword can touch the innocent, just not cut.
    • In the same episode, the Aku-possessed Jack uses his sword to cut through a robot civilian, merely in retaliation for bumping him accidently. Guessing that the robot was innocent, why was it harmed by Jack's sword? (This is discussed in ).
      • At the end of the episode/day, the robot isn't alive. Therefore, it can't be innocent or evil. The bot is just wires, metal, and oil.
