Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Ensemble Darkhorse: There was a period of time in 2000 where Scott Hall was the most over member of the entire WCW roster despite not even being used on TV at all due to his alcoholism.
    • Even in the WWE he was this trope. As Razor Ramon, he was just some two-bit thug who was brought in as a stooge for Ric Flair, but he acted like such a Badass that the fans turned him face.
  • Never Live It Down : He's more well-known for his battles with alcoholism than his matches.
  • Tear Jerker: His April 8th appearance, and Kevin Nash's blog post on it. Both are hard to watch, especially if you're a fan.
    • This documentary done by ESPN. In his own words, Hall explains many of his problems and where they have originated. Made even worse several days later when TMZ reported that every positive moment from 2011 they filmed didn't pan out well.
    • The tape also showed Sean "X-Pac" Waltman looking at the footage, and questioning why the hell the promoter of the April 8th match would send Scott out, and why the man denies any real acknowledgment of the human being. It culminates with a "fuck you" to the asshole in question. It's tearjerking because it's one of the few times Waltman has publicly spoken out about Hall's downward spiral.
      • Also from said documentary, when his son came to support him. Scott Hall said that he didn't want people he loved to worry about him, and was more worried that he was going to embarass his kids.
