• The end of the game. Up 'til this point, Jason seems like a guy thrown into the middle of things and is only fighting to get out and go home. Yet when he rescues Claire and takes her back to their jeep, he insists that she drive away and call for help, and leave him to deal with the villains himself.

Jason: These bastards are planning to invade San Francisco! Now, best-case scenario, I stop them cold. Worst-case scenario, I delay them long enough for you and whatever cavalry you can come up with to come in here and finish the job! Claire: Are you sure? Jason: No, I'm not sure! Now get out of here before I have a chance to think about it!

He, of course, stops them cold.
