Attention Deficit Creator Disorder: Curly, the writer and executive producer, is also responsible for No Black Plume, Malus Productions, and literally dozens of smaller side projects. Nathan, the DOP and director, produces his own short films. Daniel, who helps with writing and any musical arrangments, has appeared and continues to appear in local stage productions.
The Danza: Every character outside of "Magiconomy" and "A View To A Box" is named for the actor who portrays them.
One of Us: Every main cast member is a huge nerd. HUUUGE nerd.
Promoted Fanboy: Minor example, of course, since this is a small production; Danny Pestolesi was a fan and promoter of the series before being cast in an uncredited cameo in "On The Couch".
Schedule Slip: Eight episodes over about three years. Oh yeah.
Throw It In: A variation: scripts are often revised just minutes or even seconds before a scene is shot. "A View To A Box" strays almost entirely from the original script in favor of improv.
Troubled Production: Not too bad, but not too great as you can imagine from a production made by overworked teens. Not to mention a computer crash that wiped out over twenty unused scripts.
