Spider-Man: No Way Home/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

These things about Spider-Man: No Way Home are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

  • Idiot Plot: Considering all the fuss raised in Dr Strange's own movie about how the warning comes after the spell, the majority of the film could have been prevented had he learnt from his past experiences by properly warning Peter about what the spell would have entailed so that the latter would know exactly what he was getting into and what clauses or modifiers would be necessary. That the scriptwriter has Dr Strange only after the fact lament that Peter is still barely an adult with minimal useful knowledge about magic only serves to make the idiocy all the more obvious.
  • Memetic Mutation:
    • "You're not Peter Parker."
    • "Scooby-Doo this shit!"
    • Absolutely everything to do with Ned, with him being photo shopped/edited in on movies to video clips. Part of it may be explained by the very popular the fan theory that like in the 616 Universe, he will turn into the Hobgoblin, with a small line specifically referring to this story line in the movie. The fact he no longer even knows Peter in the ending only added gasoline to the fire.
