Star Trek: Klingon/Heartwarming

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

Who knew that Klingons could give you warm fuzzies?

  • Provided you don't make any mistakes, the atmosphere of the lopno' is endearing; it's clear that Pok's parents are genuinely caring (even if his mother can be grating at times), which makes it all the more heartbreaking when Torghn is killed.
    • K'tar later vows to kill Emperor Gowron if he doesn't keep Pok safe on his voyage, which just goes to show how loyal the familial bond is.
  • The scene with Le'rat's Gat'tlhlk. Watching Pok come to terms with a warrior past his prime and seeing them reconcile their differences is heartwarming in and of itself, but Le'rat's final words are...*sniff*

Le'rat: May you die...with honor, Pok.

  • In the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, Pok allows D'var to speak for Vok's innocence.
