- And the Fandom Rejoiced: April Fool's Day in 2010 saw rise to Tears of the Polestar: an elaborate joke put together by Honey Bee. The whole site was redone, talking about a movie called Tears of the Polestar, which was about about a thief named Spica who wants steal a rare jewel. She's stopped by a group called The Zodiac, so she gets together her own crew, in preparation to steal this jewel. Even the twitters were updated with "secret mission" talk and code names and other chatter. By April 2nd, it was all gone, much to the dismay of the fandom. Cut to a year later, Honey Bee reveals that Tears of the Polestar is really going to happen... just not as a movie. Instead, a new series of Drama CDs are being released with the same plot, though apparently the first disc will deal with putting together the movie. Ergo, not so much AU as the characters putting together a movie. Needless to say, there was much excitement.
