Why was the "Examples Need Sorting" category added to this page? The examples look sorted to me...

Indeed, they are not unsorted. I'm inclined to agree that it may need some rearrangement, though - categories look clunky and their headers take almost as much place as examples.
Huh. QuestionableSanity added the "Examples Need Sorting" category with the cleanup template just four days ago. He also did some bold-vs-headers edits at the same time which is what's responsible for the "clunky" look, so I suspect that's what it's referring to.
In part, but links that have to be danced around aren't better. The problem is that the rabbit hole is too branched, IMHO. And, of course, better separation of existing subtropes.
