There are that much difference between the manga and the anime series to justify them having differente pages?

I mean, we have enough space and all, so that's not the problem, but I don't think there is a situation like, say, the Fullmetal Alchemist manga and the 2003 anime.

Different media, different pages. Otherwise we get trope entries that read like "X in the manga, except Y in season 2 of the anime" and subpages that read like "choose your own adventure" books.
