Between 1989 and 1990, I worked for Deloitte and Touche in New York in the building that is now Paramount Plaza, across the street from the Winter Garden Theater where Cats ran for so many years. I worked on the third or fourth floor, and my cube was actually right up against the window -- so I could turn my head to the right and look directly into one of those huge yellow eyes whenever I cared to. I have to admit that when it finally closed, even though it had been years since I worked there, I was somewhat saddened and simultaneously nostalgic for that view.
