Talk:Christmas Special

As I post this, the page image is of The Punisher in a Santa suit. That's certainly a Christmasy image, at least as far as anything associated with the character is festive, but by no stretch of the imagination can The Punisher be called a one-shot. That image would, in my opinion, be better over on Christmas Episode (although that page already has an image, so put this image on an Image Link subpage if we move it).

Since wiki policy says anybody making this sort of suggestion should have a replacement image ready to go, I suggest this one.

Yeah, I like the replacement idea better. Put the Punisher image on Christmas Episode

Yeah, and I would suggest a "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" screenshot to replace it, since I noted by watching several american movies from the 90s and 2000s that it seems to be an iconic example of it(it is frequently on TV when characters walk pass it in movies).

I like that idea. A Charlie Brown Christmas may be the Trope Maker, but How the Grinch Stole Christmas is the Trope Codifier.

I'm fine with the suggested replacement.

Swap images with Christmas Episode. The one currently there is of a one-shot crossover special with text saying "Christmas Special" clearly visible in it. Also the caption under the Punisher image is great.

That's the simplest suggestion yet... and it doesn't invalidate any of the other suggestions, if we still want to do them later. Making it so.
