The current organization seems a bit subjective. I'm wondering how we should sort it. If the song is standing on it's own, then it can be organized by what medium it is referring too (or mixed if it is referring to something like a multi-media franchise or a genre/trope in general). There may also be filk songs that are part of other works (although if we are limiting it to In Universe stuff, that would exclude shoggoth on the roof songs).

hmm... with those categories, might take up alot of room if the same musician parodies a bunch of different stuff (e.g. as I believe weird al does)
Organizing by source/inspiration does make a good deal of sense.
Yeah, I think that might be the smarter play.
It also matches the way we handle a few other "Fan Work Tropes" pages.
