Because of the racial slur in the title. Any on-topic suggestions for a meaningful replacement name?

Magical Black Person, because that's a trope that isn't so exclusive to Americans to be called "Magical Afrodescendant" or whatever is the politically correct term du jour.

If it were solely up to me, I would leave it as is, given it was Spike Lee who coined it in order to show that the trope itself is about as dated and offensive as the word.

That said, I don't really oppose the notion of a trope name change, nor would I object to anyone thinking or feeling contrary to my statements above - and "Magical Black Person" would probably be the best candidate if we went through with the change.

I have to say, I agree with Umbire, at least his first sentence.
