After Jade's tireless efforts, I think this page is just about ready to go. And while I just changed it from a work to a trope page, I'm wondering if perhaps this might be better served as a category...
Talk:Myth, Legend and Folklore
And since in 20 days no one has said "no", I'm launching.
If we leave it in the Sandbox, it'll go unnoticed for god knows how many more years. It just needs a little punching up, and maybe some inbound wicks to help it along.
And apparently a year ago, when I moved this, I forgot to add the {{Trope workshop}} template to the page. I only now rediscovered it by accident and realized that. The template's been added, and the page will now appear in the workshop.
I think we can add more international mythologies and examples. But I don't know how to do that and where to look (If the pages in questions are in here).
Okay, I tried cleaning it up and adding a bit to it. Basically searching for examples that I know I can find.
I did a cleanup pass on it as well just now, in particular fixing the subhead levels. (When we first imported the raw TVT data into Mediawiki, there was an error along the way somewhere that inverted the subhead levels on many pages, and it's one of my personal missions to find and fix the remaining affected pages.)
Anyway, the page still feels incomplete to me, but I suspect that it always will, as it's not so much a trope as an organizational tool that will need constant updating. We could probably launch it any time now.
