@SwordfishBooks, while we thank you for your contribution, it would be much better to write up a complete works page for the Lain video game, and just link to it from this page -- trying to cram different works all onto one page because they share a name just ends up with over-large messy pages with a distinct lack of focus. Might I suggest consulting our Works Page Guidelines when you do so?

Looney Toons, while we thank you for your contribution, please read the page before asking people to comply to guidelines. Lain was designed from the beginning as a multimedia project, meaning that this is a single work across multiple media. Therefore splitting it up would be contrary to the creator's vision.

Then we should turn it into a franchise page, instead of a TV series with add-ons.

How is it a franchise if there's only one work?

Different media, different works. The video game is not the TV series.The multimedia project is the franchise, the individual instances are all different works, the way the videogame of The Lord of the Rings is different from the tabletop board game is different from the movie is different from the novel, even if they all share the same plot and characters.

Or can you play the TV series on your game console and watch the video game on your TV in half-hour installments?
