Where are the guidelines that named this?

Searching only finds reference to this and that other trope site, or modern incarnations of the magazine in question. Does anyone have a copy of these guidelines?

You'd have to ask on TV Tropes. This is one of the titles that we inherited from them when we forked the wiki.

(I've always thought that it's an esoteric trope name, myself.)

Where the name is from is directly and clearly cited in the trope description. I'm looking to see if anyone knows a more specific citation (for example, what issue it was printed in or if the article it's from is online somewhere).

I'm willing to let a trope named by Asimov/his close associates stand if true.

I wrote and named the trope back on TVT. I received a copy of the guidelines right from the hand of then-editor-in-chief of Isaac Asimov's Science Fiction Magazine George Scithers when he came to Princeton University to run a writer's workshop for the science fiction club Infinity, Ltd. (now sadly defunct), of which I was a member. This was about forty years ago. I no longer have a copy -- at least the last time I went digging through the keepsakes of my college years it was not there to be found. But "tomato surprise" stuck with me for -- well, it was just over twenty years when I added it to TVT.

OK, thanks.
