Among both amphibians and land-based (jargon: terrestrial) animals, some degree of "chicken-like" flavor developed and has persisted among all the tetrapods. In fact, among the vast and varied four-legged community, there are only minor exceptions, such as the evolution of "beef-like" and "pork-like" flavor among mammals.
