Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

  • Hey, It's That Voice!: Trey and Matt. At least two of the voice actors for the movie have also been featured on another team...in Tales of Symphonia as the Desian Grand Cardinals. Masasa Moyo (Sarah) voiced Pronyma, Daran Norris (Spotswoode) was Rodyle, and radio personality Phil Hendrie provided his voice for I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E.
    • More disturbingly, Darran Norris was also the voice of Cosmo and Timmy's Dad on The Fairly OddParents. Try watching it the same way ever again.
    • Jean Francois (the French boy) is Finn.
    • The voice of Lisa, Kristen Miller, was one of the three She Spies. And you know how hot Lisa's supposed to be, in puppet land? Just take [dead link] a [dead link] look at Kristen [dead link] (and Kristen's the one on the left for that last shot there)...
  • Throw It In: As mentioned under Take That in the Main tab, the Matt Damon puppet was intended to be intelligent... then the actual puppet came out.
    • According to Stone and Parker, they hadn't originally planned to make Matt Damon any smarter or dumber than the rest of the actors guild. However, when his borderline-caveman looking puppet came in, they decided on the spot to make him a drooling idiot.
  • What Could Have Been: Alec Baldwin and Matt Damon thought the movie was hilarious, and said they would've gladly lent their own voices if Matt & Trey had asked. George Clooney, who has done cameo voice work for South Park twice, was actually offended that they didn't make fun of him. Even U.N. Weapons Inspector Hans Blix (who Kim drops into a Shark Tank) was amused.
    • Trey and Matt originally wanted to make an R-rated Thunderbirds movie.
      • Supposedly they also wanted to remake Armageddon with puppets, while leaving the script entirely unchanged.
    • The deleted scenes and animated storyboards show that the film was supposed to have slightly deeper character development, less subtle racism, and I.N.T.E.L.L.I.G.E.N.C.E. called F.O.N.Z.Y.
    • This was originally written as a sequel to the cult film Megaforce. After Trey and Matt couldn't get the rights to make it, they reworked it into this film.
