  • Fair for Its Day: Some of the dialogue between men and women can read as incredibly chauvinistic, but this has to do with the time period the books were written in. YMMV very much on whether or not Heinlein was actually purposefully sexist.
    • Seeing as how his cause of death was not 'Virginia Heinlein beating him to death with a baseball bat', probably not. More seriously, this novel was written during the period that she was basically his un-credited co-author[1], and she is vastly unlikely to have been purposefully sexist.
