The Cat in the Hat movie had some pretty good funny stuff.

  • The Fish warned the kids that the Cat violated 17 of the rules. The Cat called and said "City morgue" with the Fish counting it as the 18th rule broken.
  • The Cat calls a garden hoe a "dirty hoe" before trying to kiss it.
  • The Cat gets whacked in the groin by a baseball bat and daydreams in his happy place.
  • The Cat works on the couch like he's a car mechanic. Even an elephant shows up.
  • The Cat tells the kids Thing 2's nicknames such as Thing A, Super Thing, Thing King, Kid Dynamie, Chocolate Thunder and Ben.
  • The Cat dresses up as a hippie to distract Larry with a petition. He also preferred calling Nevins a "Canine-American".
