• Heartwarming Moments: "I hate cats."
• The final scene of the film. It might count as a Tear Jerker, too.

Real love is forever.

• In the comic, when Eric gives Shelly's ring to Sherri on a chain, so she can wear it as a necklace.
• In the movie when Eric comes back to his home, he sees his cat Gabriel show up. You can tell by the whisper that he is surprised and relieved at least one living thing survived in his home. The moment is kinda ruined when he picks him up and sees through Gabriel's eyes, the cat attack Skank when he tries to grab it. The shock from the memory causes Eric to accidentally drop him, causing him to run away scared. However what makes it all the more heartwarming again is that despite the drop, Gabriel still stays by his master's side. It becomes even more of an adorable moment, when you see Eric do his rooftop guitar solo. The Camera pans up from his loft window showing Gabriel happily eating cat food from the can. Even during his revenge revenge Eric takes the time to feed his cat. When Sarah shows up after finding out Eric is back, the first thing that greets her is Gabriel, whom she thought died with Eric and Shelly. Gabriel's last scene is shown when Sarah hangs out with him, while Albrecht lets her know he's seen Eric too.
