  • Moral Event Horizon: A lot, but for the conspirators, Trujillo crossed it with the Mirabal murders.
  • What an Idiot!: ‘Pupo’ Román wastes a lot of opportunities to fill the power vaccuum after Trujillo’s death. What’s even worse, he knows he’s wasting them. Yet still doesn’t take them and ends up tortured and killed at the end.
