The Girl Who Loved/YMMV

Everything About Fiction You Never Wanted to Know.

These things about The Girl Who Loved are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

  • Complete Monster: Early in the story Dumbledore comes across this way, very strongly. He casually considers and condones the use of enslavement, rape and other atrocities in the pursuit of "the Greater Good". When the Senshi repeatedly defeat and embarrass him, he plans on applying international pressure on Japan through the ICW so he can have them declared non-human "creatures" and then brought back to England for use as breeding stock. However, this is ultimately subverted in that it turns out he's high as a kite on a theoretically lethal combination of mind-altering potions, and has been for years. Once he's "purified" by Sailor Moon and is no longer addicted or affected, he turns out to be a completely different (and remorseful) person who cannot even understand his own earlier motives and actions.
