Okay, so now it's been Jossed as you'll read under Take That on the main page, but it would have made sense. Herc, Thor and immortal Physical Gods in general certainly had to learn new languages as they were invented, and keep adjourning their syntax and vocabulary in order to communicate. But when you've been around long enough new languages will start to sound all the same, and then nothing's easier than to lag a few century behind in your speech mannerisms.
