A neo-soul project combining Odd Future engineer Syd tha Kyd's vocals with Matt Martians' production.

For the international network they are named after, see here.

Discography:
  • 12 Odd Future Songs (Odd Future compilation, 2011)
  • Purple Naked Ladies (2011)
  • OF Tape Vol. 2 (Odd Future compilation, 2012)
  • Feel Good (2013)
  • Ego Death (2015)
The Internet provides examples of the following tropes:
  • The Cameo: Tyler, The Creator appears in the amusement park near the end of the video for "Fastlane" (and the beginning of its followup "Cocaine")
  • Face of the Band: Syd is the most well-known member of the band.
  • The Ladette: Syd, with her short hair and plain clothes.
  • Mushroom Samba: In the music video for "Cocaine", Syd and another woman snort coke and take pills in an amusement park. They then hallucinate when seeing other people (distorted faces, scary apparitions, color filters).
  • Parody: On the cover for Ego Death, one of the band members is wearing a cap with "got ho's?" on the front, a parody of "Got Milk?".
  • Performance Video: "Doncha", in black and white.
  • Soundtrack Dissonance: The video for "Fastlane", a mellow song about a failing relationship, features Syd and a female accomplice jacking a car with guns (killing its driver in the process), robbing a gas station and then a dinner.
  • Surprisingly Gentle Song: Compared to the rest of Odd Future, a mostly hip hop collective, The Internet plays soul and R&B, a more gentle genre of music.
  • A Wild Rapper Appears: Left Brain is featured in "Cocaine", rapping about wanting to have sex with a drugged-up girl.
